TROUBLESHOOTING

If the electronic functions (hand control or control box) of the bed are not responding

  1. Unplug the power cord from the wall outlet for 1 full minute
  2. Plug the power cord back into the wall outlet
  3. Look for a green light in the top right corner of the hand control to confirm it is receiving power
  4. If the hand control or control box is still not responding, please contact SonoBed to order a replacement part.

LOCATING THE SERIAL NUMBER

Sticker

The exam bed should have a serial number sticker on the metal base. Depending upon when the bed was ordered, it will be either a sticker or a black plastic tag attached to the base.

This serial number label is located on the base of the bed, across from the control box. It is either red/white or black/white with HMP lettering and the 4 digit number.

Plastic Tag

This serial number tag is attached to the base of the bed in the area that would be below the patient’s left foot (if there was a patient on the bed). This tag has the HMP logo along with an American flag. The serial number is located in the middle of the tag, under the MODEL.
